Christmas Tree Festival

Once again CNPG will be entering the Newick Christmas Tree festival of lights, in aid of

St Peter and St James Hospice .

The idea this year is for members to paint an "Icon"on a card 2 .1/2 inches by 3.1/2 inches.

Ann will be bringing some cut card along on monday 30th July.

We need your submissions  by 1st Dec. please so the finished tree can be erected on Thursday 11th Dec.

The Exhibition runs over three days  Friday 12th Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December.

The original idea was to paint Icons , ie Russian or Greek style of the Holy Family , or St . Nicholas, Angels or Magi , ie Christmas. However some people and we are a diverse group ! Consider eg Elvis as their idea of an Icon , so paint what makes you happiest but if possible in the style of the original idea. Any media but The very least a halo and some gold paint!! 

NB We will leave a box in CNPG cupboard so they can be left in the hall for easy drop off and collection . Will leave some card in hall by beginning of July.
